History of DEM
In 1996, Delta Epsilon Mu was established at the University of New York in Binghamton. DEM was then brought to Davis, California in 2002. From this point on, DEM has spread across the United States bringing people together who have interest in a pre-health field. In 2012, DEM was brought to the University of Missouri by Julia Garza in order to unite students from various health fields.
About DEM
Delta Epsilon Mu was founded on four principles: Dedication, Loyalty, Friendship, and Support. The members of DEM are committed to serving the community by prompting health education, and by participation in service activities, fundraising, and outreach programs. Members are given the opportunity to participate in health-oriented workshops and discussions. Delta Epsilon Mu is open to anyone interested in the health field, regardless of race, religion or creed.
